Southern California truck that has
been owned and babied for over 20 years. This truck was purchased from a local
in San Luis Obispo County here in California. The truck is about 36 years old, for
this price and condition you can’t and won’t find anything cleaner or remotely
close to it. Keep in mind it’s a truck, not a new modern $80,000 things they
call “trucks” these days.
I encourage you to see it in person or via video chat, which
will ensure it's a legit listing. I'm not a flipper nor a car dealership. I'm
in no rush to sell it. I've been an Ebay member since the year 2002. I
dumped lots of money into it. Literally, my loss and someone else's gain.
Stunning truck.
A complete and correctly done color swap was done with an
original Ford Raptor (Area 51) color. Paint code: KU. So guess what, anything happens. A little
ding. Literally just give them the code: KU, since it’s a factory code and not
a custom mixed color. It’s literally an OEM color. Original color was the two
tone blue and gray. Obviously it was faded but that’s about it. The body lines
were solid. The paint job was done properly. When I say it was done properly,
it was literally taken completely apart. Door Jams painted. Doors removed,
windshield removed and replaced, bumpers removed, hood removed. I have pictures
with proof. For the complete paint job it was in excess of $12,000.
Meaning for the price of the paint job, youre literally
getting a truck for free. And no, I’m not trying to get my money back. I am
actually losing on the truck. It’s time to let it go, and let someone truly
enjoy it.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. YES, the truck has a SALVAGED title but NOT DUE TO AN
ACCIDENT it was due to it being STOLEN when it was almost brand new. The truck
was stolen in 03-31-1994, so at that time with it being so new it was obviously
still worth a lot. And if you didn't know, in California once it is stolen it
is automatically turned into a salvaged title. Even if it was recovered within
one-minute. That’s just the way it works here in California. So please
understand. It wasn't stripped. It wasn't in a nasty wreck and totaled, it was
literally stolen when it was brand new. Salvage due to it being stolen NOT AN ACCIDENT. You can see, there aren't any accidents, which is quite an accomplishment knowing it is about 36 years old.
Please see and check for yourself on the National Insurance
Crime Bureau (NICB) website by typing out the vin number (2GCEK19K6L1182614)
into the following website.

I have attached the screenshot of the information or you can
see for yourself why it is Salvaged titled. If not, you can ask your AAA agent
and he can verify for you.
Outside of that, it is literally my loss. I dumped a ton of
money in it. If I knew I was going to sell it, believe me I wouldn't have even
painted it. It's a solid American Truck. What trucks used to be. No crazy
sensors. No crazy gimmicks. A solid American Truck.
--Engine was recently replaced with an Autozone engine. Why?
Because It had sat for a couple of years, and I had extra money and wanted a
new truck in an old body. Once again, if I knew I was going to sell it I
wouldn’t have purchased a new engine from Autozone. The plan wasn’t to sell
it. I wanted a truck for life.
-- Automatic transmission. Recently serviced. Recently changed the seals.
Please keep in mind, this isn’t a modern truck. This is what a truck used to
ride and drive like. Remember this is from 1990. Transmissions have changed. This
year of transmission does not have standard modern solenoids, meaning the oil
pressure goes straight to the gearbox, onto the passing gear. Meaning it’s not
a Ferrari transmission. Don’t expect that.
-Non-smoker truck. Non – pet truck.
--New modern Boss BCPA9 widescreen Touchscreen Apple Car Play / Android Auto
Bluetooth Wireless stereo. Literally modernizes the stereo to 2026. Now you can
sync your phone wirelessly to the stereo without technological anxiety.
--New spark plugs and spark plug wires, with added Moroso
Spark Plug Wire Holder purchased from Jegs just for aesthetic purposes. Not needed, just a matter of preference.
--Transfer case seals replaced.
--U-joints replaced with MOOG brand
--Flowmaster exhaust
--Throttle Body Injection (TBI) was replaced. Not because it
needed it. Just because I wanted to replace it to make sure I don’t have any
issues in the future. It was almost $250.
--Antenna base replaced during painting with OEM GMC ($103).
--Bed liner and Under coating sprayed professionally.
--Front windshield replaced. I wanted it to have the black
shaded area up top so I replaced the windshield since it was off already, as it
was taken off to paint the truck correctly. Yes, they literally took off the
windshields to paint the truck.
--17" Black Rhino Rotary Forged Wheels (Original not
Knock offs. Be careful there are knock offs out there)
--New Nitto Terra
Grappler G2 285/70/R17 Tires. These are exceptional all-terrain tires built for
trucks NOT CHEAP Chinese tires.
--Upgraded LED style odometer light bulbs. Professionally installed by a shop.
Keep in mind this is a 1990 truck so they were dim and not as bright as 2026
vehicles. Did they need to be upgraded, No, but it was a nice upgrade.
--Cigarette lighter with on-off switch. You can literally
charge your phone now. Keep in mind, this truck literally had a cigarette
lighter to turn on cigarettes. This modern charger was installed by a
professional shop.
-- Air Conditioning has been transformed to a newer version, since it had the
old system.
--Brake Booster recently replaced.
--Brake master cylinder replaced.
--Recently replaced spark plugs.
-Newer interstate battery
-Tensioner belt replaced
-Alternator recently placed
--Starter recently replaced
--Headlights replaced
-Rear taillights replaced with LED version
--Full synthetic oil used consistently
--I’m sure I’m forgetting some stuff. Once again...if I knew I was going to sell it I wouldn't have spent an abundance of money on it. I would have definitely not painted it either.
Onto important stuff…I don’t care what Blue Book says. I will not give the truck
away. Someone will appreciate it. I
spent literally thousands and thousands of dollars. You won’t find a better truck
for this price. Of course there are nicer trucks, so if not interested you can
easily go to the dealer and spend 80k for a 4-cylinder turbo engine that will
give up in a couple of years.
The truck was relisted due to no-payment. Please be
courteous and don’t waste your time or my time. Please be considerate and make
sure you have the money, as I’m not interested in trading it for a jetski that
doesn’t run, or your lowered 1982 Toyota Corolla with green wheels. No joke, I
was offered these.
Serious inquires only. Please ask your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, and or
significant other, and make sure you have the money. If you are interested in
purchasing, a non-refundable deposit of $250 can be made. Upon receiving the
deposit, you will have 72 hours to pay the remaining balance. Cash is accepted
but the truck won't be released until the funds are verified and deposited into
my bank. Yes, there are fake bills out there. Cashiers check also accepted.
Wire transfer also accepted. However, as mentioned previously, the car will not
be released or shipped until deposit clears.

California. This is to be enjoyed by someone whom has the time. Reasonable
offers will be considered, but I'm in no rush to sell it. I don't need the
money nor am I desperate to sell it. My loss, your gain.
